9. Select PPD’s. The file is located in the C:\Program Files\Roland COLORCHOICE 4 or RCC for
ColorCAMM\PPD folder. Select the PPD according to the m odel of your printer.

Before using Roland COLORCHOICE
Before using Roland COLORCHOICE, you have to configure the Ado bePS properly.
1. From the Start menu, select Settings then Printers.
2. Open the Printers folder.
3. Right click on the icon of your printer and select Properti es from the pop- up menu.
4. Select the Details tab from the Printer Properties dialog.
5. Click on the Spool Settings button. The Spool Settin gs dialog appears.
6. Select “Print directly to the printer” and “Disable bi-direc tional support for this printer” and click OK.
7. Click OK to close the Printer Properties dialog. You ca n now print from Adobe PS Printer driver to the
Roland COLORCHOICE. You will notice, each time that your computer is started, an icon for the Roland
COLORCHOICE Software in the lower right corner of your monitor. This indicates that your computer is
ready to begin printing to the Roland COLORCHOICE.
Windows NT Installation
This section describes how to install the software on com puters running Windows NT. The logon with which
the software is installed must have Administrator pr ivileges.
These instructions assume that you have the Roland COLORCHO ICE Setup CD in your CD-ROM drive, and
that you have read the recommendations in the Advisor (the s eries of screens that appeared when you
selected your language).
1. From the CD Setup window, select the language of the instal ler you would like.
2. Click
Next. The Software to Install window displays.
3. Select the product you would like to use from Product drop- down box.
4. Click
Next. The Welcome window displays.
5. Click
Next. The select Program Folder displays.
6. Select the folder you would like Roland COLORCHOICE to dis play in.
7. Click
Next. The Destination Location window displays.
8. Select the destination by clicking on Browse or except the default location.
9. Click
Next.
