Parallel Connection

Parallel Connection

Contacts for each of the SRA-200E's three types of input connectors (XLR-3-31, TRS standard phone, and screw type) are wired in parallel internally, so signals can be output unchanged and then input again at a separate device's connector, allowing connection of a multiple number of power amps.

*With parallel connections, the total impedance is reduced. Check the output impedance of each device

to be connected (mixer, preamps, and so on) to make sure that the outputs of the mixer and other devices do not overload the system.

The input impedance of a single SRA-200E itself is 10 kiloohms (with balanced or unbalanced input).

The total input impedance of "n" number of SRA- 200Es connected in parallel is "10/n" kiloohms (with balanced or unbalanced input).
