Edge-Lit LED Technology

Edge-lit LED solution utilises LED lamps around the edge of the panel so the LEDs emit light on the side of the panel. This re- sults in a much thinner screen that requires fewer lamps meaning reduced power con- sumption and less heat generation. Its slim and light weight design offers heavy weight communication solutions for any business looking to convey concise marketing or educational messages.

Samsung is changing the look, cost, and longevity of video display walls. At 11mm in thickness, the bezel to bezel for the Samsung UE Series has been designed to maximise viewing experience. The slim bezel removes any distraction from your sight to provide a greater surface area. The UE Series also utilises Edge-Type LED, allowing it to be much slimmer than the competition.

Reduced Heat

Conventional LFDs emit consistent amounts of heat across the breadth of the display, while the new Samsung LFD not only minimise it but centralise it around the sides of the screen. This proves helpful in creating a more enjoyable environment to be in, especially when working in close proximity to the displays, for example, at a business convention.
