- Content Protection for Recordable Media (CPRM)

är en mekanism som knyter en inspelning till det media på vilket den spelats in. Det stöds av vissa HDD/DVD- spelare med inspelningsfunktion men inte av många vanliga DVD-spelare. Varje tom inspelningsbar DVD har ett unikt 64-bitars media-ID inbränt i BCA. När skyddat innehåll spelas in på skivan kan det krypteras med ett 56-bitars C2 chiffer (Cryptomeria) som tas från mediet. Under uppspelning läses ID från BCA och används till att generera en nyckel för att dekryptera innehållet på skivan. Om innehållet på skivan kopierats till annat media kommer ID att saknas eller vara fel och informationen går inte att dekryptera.

Kontrollera att skivan har tillräckligt mycket ledigt utrymme för inspelningen. Justera inspelningsläget.

Tryck på knappen HDD eller DVD.

1 Tryck på knappen DVD, tryck på OPEN/CLOSE och lägg i en inspelningsbar skiva i skivfacket.

Tryck på knappen OPEN/CLOSE för att stänga skivfacket.

Vänta tills LOAD försvinner från frontpanelens display.
