Kun kerran kopioitava ohjelma on tallennettu, sitä ei

voi tallentaa enää uudelleen.

-CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media) CPRM on mekanismi, joka sitoo tallenteen siihen mediaan, jolle se on tallennettu. Jotkin HDD/DVD- TALLENTIMET tukevat toimintoa, mutta monet DVD- soittimet eivät. Jokainen tyhjä DVD-levy on varustettu ainutlaatuisella BCA:han syövytetyllä 64-bittisellä tunnuksella. Kun suojattu sisältö tallennetaan levylle, se voidaan salata levyn tunnuksesta johdetulla 56-bittisellä C2 (Cryptomeria) -salakirjoitusmenetelmällä.

Toiston aikana tunnus luetaan BCA:sta ja sen avulla muodostetaan avain, jolla levyn sisältö voidaan purkaa. Jos levyn sisältö kopioidaan toiselle medialle, tunnus jää puuttumaan tai se on väärä, jolloin tietojen salausta ei voida purkaa.

Katseltavan TV-ohjelman tallentaminen

Tarkista, että levyllä on riittävästi vapaata tilaa tallentamista varten.

Paina HDD- tai DVD-painiketta.

 

Jos valitset DVD:n, paina OPEN/CLOSE-painiketta ja

 

 

aseta tallennettava levy levykelkkaan.

 

 

Sulje levykelkka painamalla OPEN/CLOSE-painiketta.

 

 

Odota kunnes LOAD katoaa etupaneelin näytöstä.

 

 

Jos käytetään käyttämätöntä DVD-RAM-levyä, se on

 

 

alustettava ensin. Tee valintasi œ √ -painikkeilla ja paina
