Unfinalizing a Disc (V/VR mode)

To add additional titles to a finalized disc,you must first unfinalize it.

1	With the unit in Stop mode, press the ANYKEY
	button.
		Search
		Scene Navigation
		Time Navigation
		Marker
		Select Madia	√
		Disc Manager

Press the …† buttons to select Disc Manager							, then
2 press the ENTER			or √ button.
					Disc Manager
	DVD-RW(VR:F)
		Disc Name
		Used Space	00 : 00 : 00
		Available Space	00 : 00 SP
		Current Rec. Mode	DVD-VR
				unfinalize		Format
		MOVE	SELECT	RETURN	EXIT

4	Press the œ √ buttons to select Yes , then press the
	ENTER	button.
	The disc is unfinalized.
	■	A DVD-RW can be finalized or unfinalized
		in Video mode.
NOTE
			Finalize	Unfinalize
		Mark	DVD-Video(RW)	DVD-RW(V)
		Operation	Same as DVD-Video	Additional recording, protection
				and deletion are possible.

■A DVD-RW can be finalized or unfinalized in VR mode.

Mark	DVD-RW(VR:F)	DVD-RW(VR)

3	Press the œ √ buttons to select Unfinalize , then
	press the ENTER	button.

You will be prompted with the message “Do you want to unfinalize disc?”.

If you select Yes , you will be prompted again with the message “Disc will be unfinalized. Do you want to continue?”.
