2.Sjekk gjenværende tid på platen.

3.Sjekk at dato og klokkeslett er riktig.

Kontroller at klokken (Setup-Clock Set (Oppsett-Still klokke)) er riktig innstilt før du fortsetter med et timer-opptak. (Se side 27)

-FR (Flexible Recording) (Fleksibel Innspilling) : Velg når du vil at videokvaliteten skal angis automatisk. I FR-modus velges den mest passende innspillingsmodusen automatisk, i forhold til gjenværende tid på platen og lengden på time-rinnspillingen. Denne funksjonen velger bare en modus i XP, SP, LP og EP-modus.

-XP (høy kvalitet) : Velges når videokvalitet er viktig.

-SP (standardkvalitet) : Velges når det skal spilles inn med standard kvalitet.

-LP (lav kvalitet) : Velges når det trengs lang innspillingstid.

-EP (extended) (utvidet) : Velges når det trengs enda lengre innspillingstid.

-DVD±R-plater med to lag har omtrent det dobbelte av kapasiteten til DVD±R-plater med ett lag. (Se side 40)
