Állj üzemmódban a REC MODE gomb többszöri megnyomásával válasszon az alábbi felvételi üzemmódok közül a kívánt felvételi időtartam és a képminőség figyelembe vételével. Általánosan igaz, hogy a felvételi időtartam növelésével arányosan csökken a kép minősége. FR üzemmódban a legalkalmasabb felvételi üzemmód beállítása automatikus, a lemezen maradt idő és az időzített felvétel hosszának megfelelően. Ez a funkció az XP, SP, LP és EP üzemmódok közül választ, és ez az üzemmód csak az időzített felvételhez használható.
