-Content Protection for Recordable Media (CPRM) CPRM è un meccanismo che protegge il contenuto dei supporti registrabili. È supportato da alcuni REGISTRATORI DVD, ma da pochi lettori DVD. Ogni DVD registrabile vuoto ha un ID univoco a 64 bit incorporato nella BCA. Quando il contenuto protetto è registrato sul disco, è possibile cifrarlo con un codificatore C2 a 56 bit (Cryptomeria) derivato dall’ID del DVD.

Durante la riproduzione, l’ID viene letto dalla BCA e utilizzato per generare la chiave che consentirà di decifrare il contenuto del disco. Se il contenuto del disco viene copiato su un altro supporto, l’ID sarà assente o sbagliato e i dati non potranno essere decifrati.

Verificare che il disco abbia spazio sufficiente per la registrazione. Regolare la modalità di registrazione.

Premere il tasto OPEN/CLOSE e inserire un disco

scrivibile nel vano disco.

Premere il tasto OPEN/CLOSE per chiudere il

vano disco. Attendere che sul pannello frontale

scompaia il messaggio LOAD (Carica).

Se viene utilizzato un disco DVD-RW vergine, apparirà il messaggio con la richiesta di formattazione. Effettuare la selezione, quindi premere il tasto OK.
