4.1.3improper maintenance, repair or modification;

4.1.4defective materials or workmanship covered by the manufacturer’s warranty;

4.1.5breakdown of or interruption to the network service;

4.1.6loss of use or consequential loss of any kind;

4.1.7cosmetic damage which does not impair the normal functions of the phone;

4.1.8loss of or theft of items left unattended in a public place;

4.1.9theft of items from an unattended vehicle unless the item was in a locked boot or locked glove compartment and the vehicle itself was securely locked;

4.1.10any wilful act, neglect or failure to take reasonable care by you or any authorised user or any wilful act or neglect carried out at the direction or instigation of you or any authorised user;

4.1.11disregard of manufacturer’s and/or operating instructions;

4.1.12damage resulting from pressure waves caused by aircraft or other aerial devices travelling at sonic or supersonic speeds;

4.1.13war and hostilities;

4.1.14loss, destruction or damage in Northern Ireland due to civil commotion unlawful or wanton act committed maliciously in connection with any unlawful association;

4.1.15radioactive contamination;

4.1.16loss or theft of a phone from temporary premises is covered only where there is evidence of forcible and violent entry or exit.

4.2A replacement or repair will not be provided if:

4.2.1Orange has reason to believe you have made a fraudulent claim;

4.2.2you do not make reasonable efforts to recover any lost or stolen items;

4.2.3the phone is not registered and connected to the Orange network in your name;

4.2.4at the time of loss, theft or damage the phone was not being used or in the possession of you or an authorised user.

5 premium payment

Insurance cover will cease if any premium is not paid on the due date unless such delay is due to a processing error by any clearing bank or similar. Your phone will not be replaced or repaired if any sum is due by you to Orange.
