L'appareil photo mémorise automatiquement les visages que vous photographiez fréquemment (jusqu'à 10 personnes). Cette fonction permet de faire une mise au point en priorité sur ces visages. Cette fonction est disponible uniquement si vous utilisez une carte mémoire.

•Le visage le plus près apparaît dans un cadre blanc de mise au point et les autres apparaissent dans des cadres gris.

• : Indiquer les visages préférés (Pour enregistrer les visages préférés, voir la page 57).

• : Indiquer les visages que l'appareil photo enregistre automatiquement.

•L'appareil photo peut reconnaître et enregistrer incorrectement les visages en fonction des conditions d'éclairage, de changements notables dans la pose ou le visage du sujet, et si le sujet porte ou non des lunettes.

•L'appareil photo peut mémoriser automatiquement jusqu'à 12 visages. Si l'appareil photo reconnaît un nouveau visage alors qu'il en a déjà mémorisé 12, il remplacera le celui ayant le niveau de priorité le plus faible par le nouveau.

•L'appareil photo peut reconnaître jusqu'à 5 visages dans une scène.
