Višestruko:

●● Fotoaparat scenu dijeli na nekoliko područja, a zatim mjeri intenzitet svjetla za pojedino područje.

●● Prikladno za većinu fotografija.

Točka:

●●Fotoaparat mjeri samo intenzitet osvjetljenja u samom središtu kadra.

●● Ako subjekt nije u središtu scene, fotografija možda neće imati dobru ekspoziciju.

●● Prikladno za subjekt s pozadinskim osvjetljenjem.

Prema središtu:

●● Fotoaparat izračunava srednju vrijednost mjerenja za cijeli kadar s naglaskom na središte.
