Le fait d’appuyer de façon continue sur la touche ZOOM W permet de paramétrer l’appareil photo à son zoom minimum, c’est-à-dire que le sujet apparaît très éloigné de l’appareil photo.

Les photos prises à l’aide du zoom numérique pourraient nécessiter un temps de traitement plus long par l’appareil. Laissez le temps au processus de se dérouler.

Il n’est pas possible d’activer le zoom numérique dans certains modes Scène ([NUIT], [PORTRAIT], [ENFANTS], [TEXTE], [GROS PLAN], [ARTIFICE], [AUTOPORTRAIT], [NATURE MORTE], [CAFE]), le mode DUAL IS, le mode Vidéo et le mode d’enregistrement FUN.

Lorsque le zoom numérique est en opération, on peut appuyer sur la touche de Zoom W pour réduire par paliers le zoom numérique. Le zoom numérique s’arrête lorsque l’on relâche la touche Zoom W. En appuyant sur la touche Zoom W, le zoom numérique est réduit puis le zoom optique jusqu’à atteindre la conﬁguration minimum.

Évitez d’appuyer sur l’objectif, ce qui risquerait de provoquer un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil.

Il est possible que les bips et sons des touches de l’appareil photo soient enregistrés lors du tournage d’une séquence vidéo.
