La tarjeta de memoria SD/SDHC tiene un interruptor de protección para prevenir que los archivos de las imágenes sean eliminados o formateados. Al deslizar el interruptor hacia la parte inferior de la tarjeta de memoria SD/SDHC, los datos quedarán protegidos. Al deslizar el interruptor hacia la parte superior de la tarjeta de memoria SD/SDHC, la protección de datos se cancelará. Deslice el interruptor hacia la parte superior de la tarjeta de memoria SD/SDHC antes de tomar una foto tome una fotografía.

Al utilizar una memoria MMC de 256 MB, la capacidad de disparo especificada será la siguiente. Estas cifras son aproximadas ya que la capacidad de la imagen puede verse afectada por variables como el sujeto y el tipo de tarjeta de memoria.
