Višestruko:

●● Fotoaparat scenu dijeli na nekoliko područja, a zatim mjeri intenzitet svjetla za pojedino područje.

●● Prikladno za većinu fotografija.

Točka:

●● Fotoaparat mjeri samo intenzitet osvjetljenja u samom centru kadra.

●● Ako subjekt nije u centru scene, fotografija možda neće imati dobru ekspoziciju.

●● Prikladno za subjekt s pozadinskim osvjetljenjem.

Prema središtu:

●● Fotoaparat izračunava srednju vrijednost mjerenja za cijeli kadar s naglaskom na centar.

●● Prikladno za fotografije sa subjektom u centru kadra.

Odabir izvora svjetlosti (Izjednačavanje bijele boje)

Boja fotografije ovisi o vrsti i kvaliteti izvora svjetlosti. Ako želite postići realistične boje fotografije, odaberite prikladne uvjete osvjetljenja kako biste postigli izjednačavanje bijele boje, primjerice s mogućnostima Automatski balans, Dnevno svjetlo, Oblačno ili Volfram
