-Az elsĘ tárolt mappanév 100PHOTO, míg az elsĘ fájlnév SAM_0001.

-A fájlnevek növekvĘ sorrendben kerülnek kiosztásra: SAM_0001

SAM_0002 ~ SAM_9999.

- A fényképezĘgép 100 és 999 közötti mappaszámot rendel, a következĘképpen: 100PHOTO 101PHOTO ~ 999PHOTO.

-A mappák maximális száma 9999.

-A memóriakártyán levĘ fájlok a DCF (Design rule for Camera File systems – FényképezĘgép fájlrendszerek kialakítási szabályai) formátumnak felelnek meg. Ha megváltoztatja a képfájl nevét, megtörténhet, hogy a képet nem lehet megjeleníteni.
