Povećanjem razlučivosti fotografije ili video zapisa uključit će se više piksela, pa se otvora mogućnost ispisa na većem papiru ili prikaza na većem zaslonu. Većom razlučivošću povećava se i veličina datoteke.

3968 X 2232: Ispis na papiru formata A2 s proporcijama 16:9 (panorama) ili reprodukcija na HDTV-u.

3264 X 2448: Ispis na papiru formata A3.

2592 X 1944: Ispis na papiru formata A4.

2048 X 1536: Ispis na papiru formata A5.
