•Nollaus: Aseta tiedoston nimi alkamaan numerosta 0001, kun kameraan laitetaan uusi muistikortti, muistikortti alustetaan tai kaikki tiedostot poistetaan.

•Sarja*: Aseta tiedoston nimi jatkamaan edellisen tiedoston numerosta, kun kameraan laitetaan uusi muistikortti, muistikortti alustetaan tai kaikki tiedostot poistetaan.

•Ensimmäisen kansion oletusnimi on 100PHOTO ja ensimmäisen tiedoston SAM_0001.

•Tiedoston numerointi kasvaa luku kerrallaan välillä SAM_0001–SAM_9999.

•Kansion numerointi kasvaa luku kerrallaan välillä 100PHOTO–999PHOTO.

•Yhteen kansioon voidaan tallentaa enintään 9 999 tiedostoa.

•Kamera noudattaa tiedostojen nimeämisessä Design rule for Camera File system (DCF) -standardia. Jos muutat tiedostojen nimiä tahallasi, kamera ei välttämättä pysty toistamaan niitä.
