Võimaldab määrata, kuidas faile nimetada.

•Lähtestamine: uue mälukaardi sisestamisel, mälukaardi vormindamisel või kõigi failide kustutamisel 0001-st algava failinumeratsiooni määramine.

•Seeria*: uue mälukaardi sisestamisel, mälukaardi vormindamisel või kõigi failide kustutamisel viimasest failinumbrist algava numeratsiooni määramine.

•Esimese kausta vaikenimi on 100PHOTO ja esimese faili vaikenimi on SAM_0001.

•Iga pildistamisega suureneb faili number ühe võrra, numbrist SAM_0001 numbrini SAM_9999.

•Kui kaust saab täis, suureneb kausta number ühe võrra numbrist 100PHOTO numbrini 999PHOTO.

•Ühte kausta saab salvestada maksimaalselt 9999 faili.

•Kaamera määrab failinimed vastavalt Design rule for Camera File system (DCF) standardile. Kui te tahtlikult faili nime muudate, ei pruugi kaamera suuta faile esitada.
