Using the Selfie Alarm mode

In the Selfie Alarm mode, the camera automatically releases the shutter when it detects a face in an area that you set.

Rotate the mode dial to i.

Drag the selected frame to place it to a desired location.

4Compose your shot with the lens facing you.

•When the face is detected in the frame, the camera beeps faster and automatically captures a photo.

•You can also press [Shutter] to capture a photo.

Face Detection may not be effective when:

•the subject is far from the camera

•it is too bright or too dark

•the subject is not facing the camera

•the subject is wearing sunglasses or a mask

•the subject’s facial expression changes drastically

•the subject is backlit or the lighting conditions are unstable
