Using the device

The mobile device can be updated to the latest software.

You can charge the mobile device using the charger (sold separately).

When the mobile device is connected to the Multiport Adapter, the battery consumption increases.

Charging the mobile device through the Multiport Adapter may take longer than charging it directly.

To save energy, unplug the charger when not in use. The charger does not have a power switch, so you must unplug the charger from the electric socket when not in use to avoid wasting power. The charger should remain close to the electric socket and easily accessible while charging.

The mobile device that supports USB Type-C, DP (HDMI) output, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet is compatible with this Multiport Adapter. Some features may not work properly depending on the connected device.

Some features may not work properly if the charger is not connected while using the Multiport Adapter.

Fast charging

The Multiport Adapter supports fast charging. To begin fast charging, connect a mobile device that supports fast charging to the Multiport Adapter.

Use only Samsung-approved chargers that support fast charging (12 V/2.1 A).

Connecting to an Ethernet network

Use the LAN port on the Multiport Adapter to connect the mobile device to an Ethernet network.

Connect a LAN cable to the LAN port on the Multiport Adapter.

Tap Settings Connections More connection settings Ethernet Configure Ethernet device on the mobile device, and then set up the network connection. When setup is complete, tap Ethernet to connect to the network.
