Suljinnopeus

Suljinnopeus tarkoittaa sitä, miten pitkään sulkimen avautumiseen ja sulkeutumiseen kuluu. Se on tärkeä kuvan kirkkauden tekijä, sillä se ohjaa aukon läpi kulkevan valon määrää ennen valon saapumista kuvakennolle.

Suljinnopeutta voidaan tavallisesti säätää manuaalisesti. Suljinnopeus ilmaistaan valoarvona (EV), mikä merkitään välein 1 s, 1/2 s, 1/4 s, 1/8 s, 1/15 s, 1/1 000 s, 1/2 000 s jne.

Suljinnopeus

 

 

Mitä suurempi suljinnopeus on, sitä vähemmän valoa pääsee sisään. Mitä pienempi suljinnopeus on, sitä enemmän valoa vastaavasti pääsee sisään.

Kuten alla olevista kuvista näkyy, hidas suljinnopeus päästää enemmän valoa sisään, joten kuvasta tulee kirkkaampi. Toisaalta, nopea suljinnopeus päästää vähemmän valoa sisään, ja valokuvista tulee tummempia ja liikkuvia kohteita on helpompi kuvata.
