t Adjusting the ﬂash intensity may not be effective if:

-The subject is too close to the camera.

-You set a high ISO speed.

-The exposure value is too big or too small.

t In some shooting modes, you cannot use this function.

When the ﬂash unit is closed, the ﬂash does not ﬁre regardless of the selected option. When the ﬂash unit pops up, the ﬂash ﬁres according to the selected option.

t While not in use, keep the ﬂash unit closed to prevent damage. t Forcing open the ﬂash unit may cause damage to your camera.
