Change the settings for securing your device and the SIM or USIM card.

Encrypt device: Set a PIN or a password to encrypt the device to protect data and information saved on the device. Once the device is encrypted, you must enter the password each time you turn on the device. You must first charge the battery because it may take more than an hour to encrypt your device.

Encrypt external SD card:

-- Encrypt: Protect your personal information by encrypting the data on your memory card.

-- Full encryption: Set to encrypt all files on your memory card.

-- Exclude multimedia files: Set to encrypt all files except multimedia files on your memory card.

You may not access the encrypted memory card after the factory data reset. First, decode the memory card before the factory data reset.

●● Remote controls: Set to control a lost device remotely via the web. This feature will be activated automatically when you sign in to a Samsung account.

●● SIM Change Alert: Activate or deactivate the Find my mobile feature which helps you locate your device when it is lost or stolen.

●● Find my mobile web page: Jump to SamsungDive webpage. SamsungDive let you track and remotely control your device when lost or stolen. To use this feature, you need a Samsung account.
