Synchronise data

You can synchronise data with various web servers and back up or restore your data.

Once the synchronisation is complete, your device stays connected to the web. If a change is made to the data, the updated information will automatically be synchronised between your device and the web server.

This feature may be unavailable depending on your region or service provider.

››Set up a server account

1 In the application list, select Settings →Add account → an account type.

2 Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the account setup.

››Activate automatic sync

1 In the application list, select Settings →an account type. 2 Select an account to synchronise.

3 Select the applications that you want to synchronise.

To exclude applications from automatic synchronisation, clear the tick boxes next to the application names.

This feature may be unavailable depending on the account type.

››Synchronise data manually

1 In the application list, select Settings →an account type. 2 Select an account to synchronise.

3 Select Sync now. Your device will start synchronising the data you set for synchronisation.
