Before using your camcorder abroad, check the following items.

Power sources

The provided AC adaptor features automatic voltage selection in the AC range from 100 V to 240 V. You can use your camcorder in any countries/regions using the AC power adaptor supplied with your camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz range.

In countries/regions where 1080/60p is supported, you can view the images with the same HD (high definition) image quality as that of the recorded images. You need an NTSC-system-based and 1080/60p compatible TV (or monitor) with an HDMI or Component cable connected.

Viewing videos recorded with SD (standard definition) image quality

To view images recorded with SD (standard definition) image quality, you need an NTSC-system-based TV with Audio/Video input jacks. A component cable or Multi-AV cable connected.

These models are part of Samsung’s efforts to integrate user-friendly design with advanced technology, making them ideal for both beginners and seasoned videographers.

This resolution provides stunningly clear and vibrant videos, allowing users to capture their moments with exceptional detail. The camcorders support the H.264 video codec, which efficiently compresses video without sacrificing quality, resulting in smaller file sizes that are easier to manage and share.

Additionally, both models are equipped with a 20x optical zoom lens, making it easy to capture distant subjects without loss of clarity. This feature is particularly useful for outdoor events, wildlife photography, or any situation where getting closer to the subject isn’t feasible. Furthermore, they come with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities that enable users to wirelessly transfer videos to their smartphones or upload directly to social media platforms, enhancing sharing options.

Battery life is also a vital consideration for any camcorder, and the HMX-M20BN and HMX-M20N are equipped with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that provide ample recording time.
