Daži tīkli pieprasa statisko IP adresi. Ja jūsu tīkls pieprasa statisko IP adresi, iestatot tīkla savienojumu, izstrādājuma kabeļa iestatīšanas ekrānā manuāli ievadiet IP adreses, apakštīkla maskas, vārtejas un DNS vērtības. Lai saņemtu IP adreses, apakštīkla maskas, vārtejas un DNS vērtības, sazinieties ar savu interneta pakalpojumu sniedzēju.

Ja jūsu datorā darbojas operētājsistēma Windows, šīs vērtības varat iegūt, izmantojot datoru. ――Ja jūsu tīkls pieprasa statisko IP adresi, varat izmantot ADSL modemus, kas atbalsta DHCP. ――ADSL modemi, kas atbalsta DHCP, ļauj izmantot arī statiskās IP adreses.
