Recording a Compact Disc

You can record a compact disc on a cassette in two different ways:

Synchronized recording

This feature enables you to synchronize the start of the recording with the start of the disc or track of your choice.

Direct recording

The direct recording mode enables you to start recording with any track on the compact disc.

1Switch the system on by pressing

POWER.

3 Load a compact disc.

2 Insert a blank cassette in Deck.

Press the PUSH/EJECT button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette, and then close the cassette door.

Insert the cassette with the safety tabs.

Press the

4 MP3-CD/DVD ( ) button.

2 Insert a blank cassette in Deck.

3 Load a compact disc.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door.

Insert a CD and press the OPEN/ CLOSE button to close the CD door.

Use the CD selection ( ) buttons to select the desired song.

Press the PUSH/EJECT button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette, and then close the cassette door.

Insert the cassette with the safety tabs.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door.

Insert a CD and press the OPEN/ CLOSE button to close the CD door.

Use the CD selection ( ) buttons to select the desired song.

5 Press and hold REC button.

••"CD SYNC" is displayed.

••When stopped, press the button to start the recording from the first piece of music.

••Press and hold REC button during the playback of CD to start the recording from the first part of the music being played.

••You can use the CD SYNC/REC/ PAUSE button instead of the REC button.

6 To stop recording, press button.

Note

Synchronizedrecording Function is available for CD only.

Recording will begin.

The cassette tape you want to record on must have the safety tabs intact.
