À propos de la fonction RDS

Cet appareil dispose d'une fonction RDS (Radio Data System), qui permet de recevoir de certaines stations FM, en même temps que le signal radiophonique normal, divers types d'informations, telles que radio texte, heure et genre de programmes (nouvelles, rock, musique classique, etc.).

1	Appuyez sur la touche On/Standby (	).


2	Syntonisez une station en fréquence modulée (FM).

◆Pour des détails concernant l’écoute de stations de radio, reportez- vous à la page 12~13.

◆La mention FM et la fréquence s'affichent.

◆Si la station syntonisée transmet des informations RDS, la mention ‘RDS’ apparaît automatiquement sur l'afficheur.

3 Appuyez sur la touche RDS DISPLAY (affichage RDS) pour sélection- ner le mode RDS souhaité.

◆Chaque fois qu'on appuie sur la touche, le mode RDS bascule dans l’ordre suivant:

PS NAME RTCT Fréquence FM en cours

◆ La fonction RDS est disponible uniquement en fréquence mod- ulée (FM).

Description de la fonction RDS

1.PTY (Program Type) : affiche le genre de programme en cours de diffusion.

2.PS NAME (Program Service Name) : indique de nom de la station émettrice (7 caractères).

3.RT(Radio Text) : décode un texte diffusé par une station, le cas échéant (maximum de 64 caractères).

4.CT(Clock Time) : décode l'horloge en tempséelr à partir de la fréquence modulée.

Certaines stations pourraient ne pas transmettre d'informations PTY, RT ou CT. Ces dernières ne sont donc pas affichées dans tous les cas.

5.TA(Traffic Announcement) : le clignotement de ce symbole indique que des annonces concernant la circulation sont en cours de diffusion.

Àpropos du mode “PS NAME”

Ce mode permet d’afficher le nom de la station émettrice.

Appuyez sur la touche RDS DISPLAY et sélectionnez le mode PS NAME.

◆La mention “PS NAME” s'affiche.

◆Si l'information est reçue, le nom de la station (BBC, AFO, NDR, etc.) s'affiche.

◆Dans le cas contraire, c'est la fréquence FM d’origine qui est affichée.

Même si on n'appuie pas sur la toucheRDS DISPLAY, la réception des informations provenant de la station émettrice fait en sorte que son nom s’affiche.

Ce mode permet d’afficher les textes transmis depuis la station émettrice.

Appuyez sur la touche RDS DISPLAY et sélectionnez le mode RT.

◆La mention “RT” s'affiche.

◆Si l'information est reçue, elle s'affiche.

◆Dans le cas contraire, c'est la mention“NO RT” qui est affichée.

À propos du mode CT (Horloge)

Ce mode permet d’afficher l'heure de l'horloge RDS.

Pour sélectionner l'horloge CT, appuyez sur la toucheRDS DISPLAY et sélectionnez le mode CT.

◆ Le décodage de l'information CT pouvant nécessiter jusqu'à deux minutes, l'horloge ne s'affichera pas immédiatement.

◆Si aucune information CT n'est reçue, la mention “NO CT” s'affiche.
