QThe Windows Firewall setting according to the network location (for the Windows 7 operating system only)

AWindows 7 allows different Windows firewall settings for each network location.

The following network locations are available: Home Network, Company Network and Common Network. You can determine whether to use the

Windows Firewall and select a firewall security setting for each location.

zIf the network setting window appears in Windows 7 after setting up the IP address, select a location.

x Click Start > Control Panel >

System and Security > Windows Firewall > Activate or Deactivate Windows Firewall.

cSet up a firewall for the Home and Company (Private) Network Location Settings and the Common Network Location Settings, and click the OK button.

QWhat Is Virtual XP? (For Windows 7 only,

For supported models only)

AVirtual XP refers to a virtual operating system that allows you to run Windows XP virtually in the Windows 7 environment. By using Virtual XP, you can use applications that do not run on Windows 7.

Requirements for Running Virtual

zVirtual XP is only available on these three operating systems: Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise.

xThe memory must be 2 GB or more and the virtualization function of the BIOS must exist and be activated by the CPU.
