The virtual drive (Personal Secure Drive) is created.

Note that when copying confidential data to the Personal Security Drive, the original data files are not encrypted.

When the virtual drive (PSD) does not appear

The virtual drive (PSD) is available only when the Personal Secure Drive (PSD) option is selected during the program registration. Complete the following steps to select the Personal Secure Device option from the user settings.

On the Start screen, right-click any area and select All apps.

Select Manage Security Platform User Settings.

Select Configure… under Security Platform Features.

When the initialization wizard appears, select Personal Secure

 

Drive (PSD) Next.

Enter the user password.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the

 

configuration.
