Precauciones de seguridad: Sujeción del televisor a la pared para evitar que se caiga

Precaución: Tirar del televisor, empujarlo o colgarse de él puede provocar su caída. Evite especialmente que los niños se cuelguen del televisor o lo desestabilicen. El televisor podría caer sobre ellos y causarles lesiones graves o incluso la muerte. Siga las medidas de seguridad del folleto incluido con el televisor. Para mejorar la estabilidad y la seguridad puede adquirir un dispositivo antivuelco e instalarlo como se explica a continuación.

ADVERTENCIA: Nunca coloque el televisor en un lugar inestable. El televisor podría caer y causar lesiones personales graves o incluso la muerte. Muchas lesiones, en especial en el caso de los niños, pueden evitarse tomando sencillas precauciones como

•• Utilizar armarios o estantes recomendados por el fabricante del televisor.

•• Utilizar solo muebles capaces de soportar el televisor con seguridad.

•• Asegurarse de que el televisor no sobresale del borde del mueble que lo sostiene.

•• No colocar el televisor sobre muebles altos (por ejemplo, estantes o librerías) sin haber anclado el mueble y el televisor en un soporte adecuado.

•• No colocar el televisor sobre un tejido u otro material que pueda estar situado entre el televisor y el mueble que lo sostiene

•• Informar a los niños de los peligros de subirse al mueble para llegar al televisor o a sus mandos. Las mismas precauciones que toma con el televisor nuevo deberá aplicarlas al aparato viejo si tiene la intención de conservarlo y cambiarlo de lugar.

Precauciones para evitar la caída del televisor

1.Utilice los tornillos apropiados, fije firmemente un juego de bridas a la pared. Asegúrese de que los tornillos están bien sujetos.

–– Según el tipo de pared quizás necesite algún material adicional para el anclaje.

2. Utilice los tornillos del tamaño apropiado, fije firmemente un juego de bridas al televisor.

–– Para las especificaciones de los tornillos, consulte la parte referida a tornillo estándar de la tabla de la sección "Instalación del televisor en una pared".

3. Monte una cadena fuerte y resistente entre las bridas del televisor y las de la pared de manera que quede bien tensada.

–– Instale el televisor cerca de la pared para evitar que caiga hacia atrás.

–– Instale la cadena de manera que las bridas de la pared estén a la misma o a menor altura que las bridas del televisor.
