Self-timer ( _)/Right button
When the menu isdisplayed onthe LCD monitor, pressing the Rightbut-
ton makes the cursor shiftto the right tab.
When the menu isnot displayed onthe LCD monitor, theRIGHT button
operates as the Self-timer ( _ ) button. This function is used when the
photographer would also like to be inthe image.
• If you operate the Self-timer button during the self-timeroperation,
the self-timer function iscancelled.
• Use atripod toprevent thecamera fromshaking.
• In Movie Clip mode, only the 10SEC self-timer will work.
• If [Motion Timer] is set, [Self Portrait] cannot be selected.

1.Rotate the Mode dial to select a desired
RECORDING mode.
2. Press the SELF-TIMER /RIGHT(d..) ) button
untilthe desired mode indicator displays on the
LCDmonitor. A 10second, 2 second,Doubie
self-timer or Motion timer iconappears onthe
LCDmonitor.
3.When you press the SHUTTER button, the
picture will be taken after the specified time
haselapsed.
