Roam

When the roam alert option is turned On, a distinctive alert tone is heard when you leave the network coverage area.

To set a distinctive ringer for incoming roam calls:

1.Press to display the menu.

2.Press for Sounds.

3.Press for Alerts.

4.Press for Roam.

5.Scroll between On/Off. When the desired setting is displayed, press

to save.

6.To cancel, press to return to the previous menu at any time.

Privacy

When the Privacy option is set to on, the phone sounds an audible beep when you loose a private encrypted CDMA line. For this option to work correctly, you must have the enhanced privacy option set in the Security options. This option is enabled by default.

Note: You can also enable the Privacy mode option during a call to make the call secure. Simply enable the Privacy mode from the security menu while connected to a call.

When the privacy option is enabled and you are located in an area that

supports the privacy option, the Privacy icon is displayed at the top of the screen. If the privacy mode is enabled and you are located in an area that does not supports privacy, a outlined privacy icon is

displayed. The Digital and Privacy mode icons cycle back and forth.
