Answer Mode

When the Answer mode option is activated, your phone allows you to select a specific answer mode when receiving an incoming call. Your phone can be preset to answer when you do any of the following:

￿￿by send key: You can answer the phone by pressing

￿￿by flip open: You can answer the phone by opening the phone’s flip.

￿￿by any key: You can answer the phone by pressing any key on the phone.

To set the Answer mode:

1.Press to display the menu.

2.Press for Setup.

3.Press for Answer Mode.

4.Press to scroll between ‘by flip open’, ‘only by SEND key’, ‘by any

key’. Press to save.

5.Pressing returns you to the previous screen.

Tone Length

Some older phones only recognize longer tones. Therefore you may have to change the tone length for some calls. When calling a paging system, remember that your phone should be set in the normal mode.

To change the Tone length:

1.Press to display the menu.

2.Press for Setup.
