Using Phonebook options

While viewing a contact in Phonebook, press <Options> to access the following options:

Edit number: change the currently selected number.

Change name: change the contact’s name.

Send message: send an SMS message.

Copy: copy the number to the phone’s memory or SIM card.

Delete entry: delete the entry.

Add entry (Phonebook 1.2)

Use this menu to add a new contact to Phonebook.

Storing a number in the phone’s memory

1.Enter a number and press <Save>.

2.Select Phone.

3.Select a number type.

4.Enter a name and press <OK>.

5.Press [Right] and change the settings or enter information about the contact.

Mobile/Home/Office/Fax/Other: add a number in any category.

Email: assign an e-mail address.

Note: add a memo about the person.

Group: assign the number to a caller group.

Graphic: assign an image as a caller ID image to alert you to a call from the number.

Alert: assign a ringer melody to alert you to a call from the number.

Storing a number on the SIM card

1.Enter a number and press <Save>.

3.If necessary, change the location number and press <OK>.
