Secure Wi-Fi

Protect your privacy while using a Wi-Fi connection.

On the Apps screen, tap S Secure.

Under Secure Wi-Fi, tap ENABLE →AGREE.

Your Wi-Fi connection will be secured for six hours by default. Tracking requests from apps via Wi-Fi will be blocked and your IP address will be kept private.

To extend the duration of the current secure Wi-Fi session or view details, open the notification panel, tap the secure Wi-Fi notification, and then tap VIEW DETAILS.

You may not be able to access some webpages and content while using this feature, depending on your service provider or mobile network conditions.

Google apps

Google provides entertainment, social network, and business apps. You may require a Google account to access some apps. Refer to Accounts for more information.

To view more app information, access each app’s help menu.

Some apps may not be available or may be labelled differently depending on the region or service provider.

Chrome

Search for information and browse webpages.

Gmail

Send or receive emails via the Google Mail service.
