Turning on the screen using the Home button

Hard press the Home button or the Home button area to turn on the screen.

On the Always On Display, you can also turn on the screen by double-tapping the Home button.

Do not hard press the Home button or the Home button area with the S Pen. The pen nib may be deformed.

Setting the navigation bar

Launch the Settings app, tap Display Navigation bar, and then select an option.

Show and hide button: Add a button to hide or pin the navigation bar. You can set whether or not to display the button for each app.

BACKGROUND COLOUR: Change the navigation bar’s background colour.

Hard press Home button: Set the device to return to the Home screen when you hard press the Home button. You can also adjust the amount of pressure needed to use the Home button when hard pressing it.

Unlock with Home button: Set the device to unlock the screen without swiping on the locked screen when you hard press the Home button. This feature is available when Hard press Home button is activated.

Button layout: Change the order of the buttons on the navigation bar.
