If using network by connecting the DVR body with IP router, you should designate a port for DVR from the Setup Menu of the IP router. The main body of SVR-1650E/1640A/950Euses 2 ports for TCP communication. In addition, it uses DHCP function supported by IP router. Even if dynamically allocating IP address to the main body of DVR for use, you should designate a port for IP, which DVR receives from the Setup Menu of IP router. If using a IP router, previously designate IP allocated to the DVR main body and port numbers from the Setup Menu of the IP router, not using DHCP function, and set access mode to the static IP in the DVR main body, and it is recommended to directly input IP designated to the IP router.

For method to set IP router, refer to manual of IP router or contact the manufacturer.
