Turning Your Device Off

1.Press and hold the (Power/Lock Key).

2.At the Device options prompt, tap Power off.

Setting Up Your Device

When you first turn on your device, you are asked to set up a few things. To do that, the following screens display. Some screens can be skipped (tap Skip) or re-displayed (tap Back). Some screens display depending on the options you choose.

Welcome!

�At the Welcome screen, follow the on-screen instructions to configure your tablet’s basic options, such as language, date and time, Wi-Fi connections, location settings, etc.

•Google Account: Many of your tablet’s applications, such as Gmail, Hangouts, and the Google Play Store, require a Google Account. To use these applications, you must set up your Google Account on your phone. Complete the steps to sign in to your current Google Account, or sign up for a new Google Account.

•Samsung Account: Your Samsung Account is used for access to Samsung apps and services, such as Samsung Apps, WatchON, and much more. Complete the steps to sign in to your current Samsung Account, or sign up for a new Samsung Account.
