3.From the main Messages screen, touch and hold a message, and then select an option:

•Add to contacts: Add the sender to either a new or existing Contacts entry.

•View contact: View the current entry information for the sender.

•Delete thread: Delete the entire message. For more information, refer to “Deleting Messages” on page 57.

•Add to spam numbers: Tag a number as spam so that these messages can be directly delivered to your spam folder.

Options While Composing a Message

1.From a Home screen, tap (Apps) ➔ (Messages).

2.From within an open message, tap (Menu) to display additional messaging options:

•Insert smiley: Add insert smiley icons images (emoticons).

•Preview (only in MMS): allows you to add preview the MMS message prior to delivery.

•Add text: Add text items from sources such as Memo, Calendar, Location, Contacts, and Text templates.

•Add to contacts: Add the sender to either a new or existing Contacts entry.

•View contact: Display the current Contact’s details.
