Televizor možete postaviti tako da Internetu može pristupati putem lokalne mreže (LAN mreže) pomoću kabelske ili bežične veze.

Povezivanje s mrežom - bežična mreža

Televizor možete izravno povezati s LAN mrežom putem standardnog bežičnog usmjernika ili modema. Za bežično povezivanje najprije trebate priključiti "adapter tvrtke SAMSUNG za bežičnu LAN mrežu" (WIS09ABGN, WIS09ABGN2 ili WIS10ABGN - prodaje se zasebno) u USB 1 (HDD) ili USB 2 ili priključak na stražnjoj strani televizora.

Adapter tvrtke Samsung za bežični LAN podržava standarde IEEE 802,11a/b/g te n komunikacijske protokole. Samsung preporučuje IEEE 802,11n. Prilikom reprodukcije videozapisa putem IEEE 802,11b/g veze, videozapis se možda neće reproducirati glatko.

Većina sustava bežičnih mreža ima sigurnosni sustav kojemu su potrebni uređaji koji pristupaju mreži preko pristupne točke ili bežičnog usmjernika (to je obično bežični IP djelitelj) radi prenošenja šifriranog sigurnosnog koda, poznatog pod nazivom pristupni ključ.

Ako je odabran način rada Pure High-throughput (Greenfield) 802,11n, a vrsta šifriranja za bežični usmjernik postavljena je na WEP, TKIP ili TKIP-AES (WPS2Mixed), televizori tvrtke Samsung ne podržavaju vezu u skladu s novim specifikacijama certifikata za Wi-Fi.
