This chapter provides you the basic usage instructions for your Sansa® FuzeTM player.

Basic Usage

Power Switch

The power switch is used to turn the player on or off as well as resetting it.

Power On

Slide the Power Switch up to turn on the player. The Blue Ring will light up and the Main Menu will appear after it has been booted up.

Power Off

Slide the Power Switch up and hold it for about 2 seconds to turn off the player.

NOTE: To prevent accidental power on, move the HOLD switch to the locked position.

Reset

To reset your player, slide the Power Switch up and hold it for approximately 10 seconds.

Thumbwheel

The thumbwheel can be used to navigate the player as well as control the volume and rate tracks. Turn the wheel clockwise to scroll down through menu items or to increase the volume during playback. Turn the wheel counterclockwise to scroll up through menu items or decrease the volume during playback.
