Enter text

When you need to enter text, tap the default input panel icon

( ) at the bottom of the screen. Tap the arrow next to the icon

and select one of the following input methods for entering text:

• Block Recognizer

• Keyboard

• Letter Recognizer

• Samsung Keypad

• Transcriber

You can tap the input panel icon at any time to show or hide

the input panel.

You can also use the external QWERTY keyboard. When you

need to enter text, right slide open the device. Use the

QWERTY keyboard as you would with the PC’s keyboard.

However, the Navigation keys and the Enter key of the

QWERTY keyboard may not work with some applications.
