11. Messaging

New Messages

To read a message:
When you receive new messages,the message notification and
the icon will appear.Press (left softkey)to display the
message details.
To reply to a message:
1. While the message is open,select (left softkey).
2. Compose your reply or press (right softkey)to select a
character input mode.(See “Selecting a Character Input
Mode”on page 25.)
3. Review your reply and press (left softkey).

DisplayingMessages

To display a Message from the main menu:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Highlight Messagingand press .
Shortcut:Press the navigation key up to display the Messaging menu.
3. Highlight Text Msgsand press .
4. Highlight Inbox,Sent,Outbox,Drafts,or your defined folder and
press .
5. Highlight the header of the message you want to see and
press .(To display the message options,press
[right softkey].)
