CONNECTING A MICROPHONE/ HEADPHONES

A commercially sold stereo microphone as well as headphones can be connected to the camera.

To reduce spurious radiation

i Please affix a small core	MIC terminal
(supplied) to the cable.

HINT

i The input level of the connected microphone can be adjusted (page 138). i When an external microphone is connected, the camera’s stereo

microphone is disabled.

i When headphones are connected, the internal speaker output is turned OFF.

i It is recommended that you do not use headphones while driving an automobile or motorbike, while riding a bicycle or while walking.
