To change a port number

APress [Change] under Port No..
BEnter the new port number us-
ing the number keys, and then
press [#].

To change authentication

APress [Next].
BSelect [ON] or [High Security] if
you want to activate authenti-
cation. Select [OFF] to cancel it.
Note
[High Security] is not available
when the LDAP Version is 2.
When [ON] or [High Security]
is selected, the administrator
account name and password
is required to access the
LDAP server.
When [High Security] is select-
ed, you can use a generic
password unique to the net-
work. If you do this, the serv-
er also requires the same
setting. For details, ask your
network administrator.

To change the user name and

password

APress [Next].
BPress [Change] under Us er
Name.
CEnter the new user name, and
then press [OK].
DPress [Change] under Password.
EEnter the new password, and
then press [OK].
Note
The user name and password
are of a user who is autho-
rized to access the LDAP
server.
You can press [Connection
Test] to check if the new set-
tings work.

To change search options

APress [Next] twice.
BPress [Change] under Attribute.
CEnter a new attribute, and then
press [OK].
DPress [Change] under Key Dis-
play.
EEnter the attribute's new dis-
play name, and then press [OK].
