Door Labeling Policy

Non-Master Keyed Orders

Door labeling is NOT provided unless this service is specifically requested in writing.

If requested:

•Door number (and Heading, if specified) is provided on keyed and keyless product.

•"To" and "From" description is NOT provided.

•Lead times will be extended at least 5 additional working days

Master Keyed Orders

Door Labeling is provided as standard.

•Door number (and Heading, if specified) is provided on keyed and keyless product.

•"To" and "From" description is NOT provided.

EXCEPTION: Door labeling is not provided on orders specifying Residential Master Keying (RMK) and/or Residential Construction Keying (RCK). If door labeling is required, Contract Master Keying and/or Contract Construction Keying charges will apply.

Master Key Shipment Policy

Unless otherwise requested on the purchase order, master keys and special function keys furnished on master keyed orders (i.e. control keys, emergency keys, construction keys, extractor tools, lockout keys, etc.) are packed separate from the balance of the order and shipped to the location specified on the order as follows:

		master keys via USPS Certified, Return Receipt,
•	Classic Open (Obverse)	Restricted Delivery". Due to its logistical requirements
		for the carrier and addressee, shipping via certified
• Everest Open (C Family)		mail with restricted delivery will delay receipt of
		master keys and special function keys.

All goods are shipped F.O.B. factory and become the customer’s property when they pass into the hands of the transportation company. Schlage reserves the right to use our choice of carrier.
