OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect the 12V plug to your 12V DC power supply. Make sure the plug is firmly in place. NOTE: Do not plug the 12V power plug into the power outlet in the same vehicle from which you are remov- ing the battery.

2. Connect the OBD diagnostic connector to the vehicle’s OBD connector. Make sure the connector is fully engaged. The red LED on the 12V plug will light when it is properly connected.

3. Disconnect the vehicle’s battery cables.

WARNING: The vehicle’s electrical system is receiving power through the OBD connection. There-

fore, the vehicle’s battery connectors are electrically live and should be covered with an insulator to prevent them from touching metal or each other.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The Memory Saver contains an 8 amp fuse. Should a problem arise, check the fuse or call customer service.

Par conséquent, les connecteurs de la batterie du véhicule sont sous tension et devraient être recouverts d’un isolateur pour empêcher qu’ils ne touchent le métal ou qu’ils ne se touchent entre eux.

L’économiseur de batterie contient un fusible de 8 A. En cas de problème, vérifier l’état du fusible ou appeler le SAV.
