Connecting an external amplifier
When you connect an external amplifier to RCA connectors, please install according to the amplifier manual.
Subwoofer output
CAUTION
• A s t a n d a r d s p e a ke r 's input is rated 17. 5 W input (largest 40 W input). W hen an amplif ier is connec ted to the RCA outp ut , make s ur e to change the speaker that corresponds to the output. If you connect to a standard speaker, this may cause to catch fire, emit smoke, or cause damage.
NOTICE
•The output of an inter- nal amplif ier will not
stop even when an exter- n a l a m p li f i e r i s c on - nected the RCA output. When cutting off the inter- nal amplifier output cable, protect the cut surface to prevent short circuits.
•Subwoofer output of this unit is monaural. The output level cannot be adjusted
w i th FA D ER / BA L A NC E on the AUDIO CONTROL Menu.
•Beeps will not be audible if an external amplifier is connected to the Front output.
Using the Steering Controller
In vehicles equipped with one, you can use the steering controller to operate this product.

7Volume buttons (ª , ·)
Press ª to raise the volume level. Press · to lower the volume level.
7Mode selection button (MODE)
• When power to this product is OFF:
Press the button and power switches ON.
• When power to this product is ON: Each time you press the button the source* changes. If you continue pressing the button for an extended period, power to this product switches OFF.
*The source switches in the follow- ing order:
FM1 = FM2 = CD(MP3/WMA/AAC) = (AUX) = (iPod/USB) = AM =(SAT1)
=(SAT2) = (SAT3) = FM1
